statement : draft 1.3457
in 2005 i ventured beyond the monitor, the 1 & 0 of binary image
and onto the canvas for real.
so began physical art as a self-taught expression,
a delve into a world where instant communication became primary.
both in technique, and education
i immersed myself in this idea of "the art world,"
indulging in creative explosions, venturing into the hinterland of intensity,
discovering the limits of censoring--conforming.
the moment i put first stroke to canvas, i was sure of this destiny.
the passion, the memory, the soul-knowledge that existed, it was impossibly undeniable. paint had simply linked me to my soul, and the soul of all.
there was a natural knowing, a common connection.
when painting (being), the soul of art and humanity penetrates all vision.
it's memory, a very powerful recognition, is childlike--presently alive ...
and so we venture further than the artistic moment before into the unknown vastness of revelation, wondered as all changes and changes again.
